Ox tells all

Ox, aka Andrew O'Connell, has recently contacted me after I sent him a complimentary copy of THE book, and has come clean about the famous (infamous?) street grafitti which proclaimed "Ron Chambers is.......". His confession was long and tortured. Those who have read the book and know the full story will be aware that he was a major suspect for some time.
This work of art appeared on St David St. close to Arana Hall in the early '90s , painted with oil paint for endurance I presume. No one ever attempted to finish the piece over the years, much to my disappointment, and upon my retirement in 2000 I left with it still readable and incomplete. That part of St David St has now been built over so the historical message is now lost forever. However at least the mystery of "who" has now been solved and I can sleep soundly in my Sleepyhead Torquezone Posturepaedic. Frustratingly he didn't tell me what the intended punchline (or word) was meant to be. He couldn't remember! I do have a few ideas of my own, none repeatable in print. We remain good friends.
